Engine Tuning and Testing

After rebuilding an engine it should be “Bedded-in” when mounted back in its chassis.

Running an engine after rebuild allows us to carry out a number checks, testing controls and making adjustments to optimise engine performance both in terms of power output and mechanical integrity:

• Adjustment of ignition timing
• Adjustment of fuelling
• Monitoring of temperatures & pressures
